Q: How do you choose your shows?

Our Artistic Director and staff evaluate many scripts in the process of choosing what we will present on our stage. The final selection is presented to the Board of Directors for approval. We seek to present a variety of material that will accommodate the age and experience level of all our actors from the youngest who are performing for the first time, to our tweens that want a little more challenge. Our 20 Something Series is designed for those teens and young adults who have outgrown youth productions and want to make the transition to adult productions.

Q: What is the audition process?

The process may be slightly different for each production so be sure to read the audition posting carefully and follow all the directions. We ask that the audition form be filled out and brought to the audition. Headshots and resumes are helpful but not required. Typically we have actors read selected scenes from the play. Most importantly, relax and have fun.

Q: Does Each Youth that auditions Get A Part?

It depends on the show. Some of our productions are no-cut, meaning everyone who auditions will receive a role. Other productions are cast with the actors who best fit the role. We will always let you know by email if you are or are not cast in the production.
